So as I continue on this weight loss adventure I have realized.....I am one of them. You know the people you avoid because they talk about feeling great, exercising and eating healthy. Say WHAT? But I have to admit I feel so much better and it's nice to put the jeans on..wait for it Right out of the dryer!!! LOL
Tonight as I worked out I realized I am doing stuff now that 4 weeks ago would have killed me! And I am enjoying it! Just the little things like going from 10lb weight to 20lb was a huge hurtle to overcome. Someone asked what was the 212 wrote on the wall which I myself I have always wondered. Well here is the thing water boils at 212 degrees not 211 not 210 it's the one degree that makes a difference. That one last push that make it roll. So as I enter into the last week and a half I'm going to push that one degree more. When if feels like I can't take another breath because I'm going to and I'm going to make it through it! All the support I have got from my friends has really kept me going! This adventure started out as a trip to get some extra Christmas money but now 4 weeks later it is about getting my life back and doing this for me. Our team is not going to win this competition but I walk away with so much more; confidence in myself which I can't say I have always had, a healthier husband (down 25lbs!), and a goal to finish this journey even though the competition is over we are not going to stop! We will do this and finish what we started!! I hope to post some pics soon. I have hit a wall in weight loss but got some extra tips from the trainer and I'm going to tweak my diet a little and see what a difference that makes! Thanks again for all the support!!!

Still Truckin'
Well we are entering week 4 I have lost 8 lbs. Which isn't too bad but I was hoping for more. This past week put me back a little with all 3 kids being sick at the same time the stress level was unbelievable really they are lucky I didn't eat them since I wanted to eat everything in sight. I controlled myself and didn't so I am at 0 for the week no loss no gain. Which then brought me to the issue of emotional eating and how many times I soothed myself with food and didn't even think about it. But that is a subject that I could spend a whole book on so I won't bore you with the details. Some tricks that are working for me are drinking a bottle of water when I feel that urge to snack then if I'm still hungry after that I will grab something little.
I do have a problem that I must admit to you though....I am addicted to YOGA!!! Wow I feel so great afterwards! I find myself trying to make sure I have enough time each morning to get to the gym at 8:45 which means me getting up early and getting ready before the kids. The day I realized it was a problems was when I went on a Saturday morning before everyone was out of bed. So here I am in front of all the world. Hi my name is Rhi and I'm a yoga addict LOL My favorite is the last 10 min of relaxation and focusing all the energy on the person that I have always pushed to the side and forgot about...myself. And who knew those comfy "yoga" pants that I always bummed around the house in actually had a purpose in their life ;)
So as we embark on the last 2 weeks of this weight loss adventure I find myself sad that the gym won't be part of our lives anymore. I might have yoga with drawls!! But the next few weeks all my energy will be used for weight loss. And while I'm sure our team won't win because not everyone is as excited about this competition But the trip has been sooo fun . It's made me realize that the unhealthy lifestlye we were living is a thing of the past. Bill has lost 20lbs!!!! So proud of him!!!
The producers from The Biggest Loser will be at our gym sometime soon so look for me on the big screen haha!! And if anyone wants an autograph just let me know :)
