The Battle of the French Fry

I was so proud of myself yesterday I worked so hard making it 2 miles! I haven't done that in.....well a long time we will leave it at that! So tonight I was leaving school and was hungry and frustrated it's like a lethal combo! I get to my mother in laws house and much on some Funyons mmmm their salty crunchy goodness they tasted soooo good. But I promptly stopped myself and put them down. Well then as I told Elaine about what had happened at school...we will just say it's had been a rough day.... the hunger pains started telling me I had to eat I had to eat. So I leave and did it.....drove down grease alley. I saw the big yellow Wendy's sign. Stay strong I thought and nope I didn't! I pulled in and ordered a Jr Hamburger Plain and some fries and of course oranges for kids, you know I have priorities. I lifted the fry to my mouth and it tasted GREASY! I could not believe it so I tried again with another I thought to myself this can't be right! So brain told my mouth we gotta eat this suck it up mouth we need this fatty goodness to be happy. So mouth opened up again and tried it but again it tasted greasy. Brain was sooooo disappointed in mouth. So the fries went back in the bag and to the trash. I could not believe it. It's a battle daily over food choices and I must conquer this. So now my friends I leave you with day 2 of the Battle of the Bulge. Tomorrow will be a new day and a new battle. It's all about lifestyle change not just a quick diet fix!

  1. As you go on making better choices, you will find that the old greasy stuff just doesn't taste as good to you anymore. If I do cave and have fast food these days, it just kind of sits there in my stomach like a big greasy lump. Good job on being strong today!
